A lot of the real brains of the operation have walked out the door in the last few months, and the remaining people who are valiantly holding it together are teetering on the edge.
As another review mentioned, when the CEO doesn't get his way he will draw a conclusion in his own head that the people standing in his way, or who disagree, are slow or not performing, despite any evidence to the contrary. This on many recent occasions has led to resignations.
What now remains is upper management with no real courage. This works for the CEO because he gets what he wants with most people acting on his ideas without critique.
The C level is misaligned and don't seem to be all that capable as a group which leaves others to pick up the slack and show the real leadership. It is not clear if people are placed around the exec table based on merit or just for show.
