Pros
great training - 6 weeks initial on-board sales training, peak sales/product training sessions every month, quarterly product demo certifications required from employees good culture/values - when I first was hired there (2008) it was very good. Xerox would allow team events, fundraising events, work parties, etc...my last year there, the culture changed for the worse as many employees quit and team/company events were reduced. good benefits - when I was first hired, Xerox offered all full-time employees a pension plan. Now that no longer exists. Other benefits they offer are average (medical, dental, RRSP)
Cons
doesn't pay very well (low base pay and commission) - only received one raise while working there for almost 6 years, despite being one of the better performers there. not too many opportunities for advancement. Job security - the Xerox local centre basically restructured their entire inside sales force in 2013 and laid off most of their workforce.
