Pros
Great technology and still has a culture of wanting to "play fair" with partners, vendors and suppliers. Also, good solid financial model that generates lots of cash (even in a downturn). The company is on a good track to be more efficient. A few of the management team are excellent.
Cons
The FPGA market has been growing slowly for years and this has limited the potential for individual advancement for many within the company. No new breakout markets or applications have arisen to stimulate industry growth and more of the same isn't a great strategy. ASSPs have been growing much faster. Also, we spend more than competitors but seem to accomplish less. CEO is working on fixing this. The management team who support the CEO is mixed (few are excellent, some are mediocre and 1 in particular is horrible).
