Pros
It's %100 remote. This can also be a real downside as well, though.
Cons
I was employed for over a year. I spent almost 12 months of that "On the Bench." My manager changed three times. One was hired and then gone in three weeks. When I was on the project the client refused to assign me any tasks and the managers I worked with never followed up on that. Then the gaslighting started. "If you were the superstar we hired you to be you would have worked out the problem on your own." When my last assignment ended, they let me go with zero severance and no warning. Just your typical surprise meeting that showed up on the calendar about an hour beforehand. This meeting was more gaslighting where they mentioned "due to previous performance issues..." There were none.
