Pros

- Great to work alongside a community of creatives. - Scaffolding students passionate in the creative arts can be inspiring.

Cons

- Management is in disarray. - Pay cuts are often and without warning. - Supplies are sparse. - Deadlines are not feasible for most assigned tasks (ex. CEO expects students and staff to storyboard, record, edit, export and upload video project to be done in 2 hours. Remember that we work in public school settings, not a production studio!) - Turnover rate is high. Most new hires leave within two months. Program Directors leave just as fast as they are hired. In a frantic school setting, this is horrendously depressing.

Flexible work environment and traditional work expectations. Reality driven approach and opportunity for moving up.

Cons

Have to be able to adapt to a changing climate as the world of education revolves around CBOs being able to provide for the changing needs
