Pros
- Best in class benefits - Commute reimbursement and benefits that make commuting cheaper with tax relief - Management is genuine in good/bad situations - Growth opportunities in all categories - Xterra puts the people first - Not a "money-first" company - Education paid for - Xterra provides numerous ways to give YOU a voice - Everyone supports each others growth, non-competitive growth - Core values over anything else - Clients are diverse, lots of learning and high ceiling for tech/personal growth
Cons
I've worked for mutliple Managed Service Providers. I have been belittled, undermined, threatened, micro managed and unfortunately promised growth but was denied when it came time to get more responsibility. Xterra staff and management has proven to me that there can be a fun, family oriented and encouraging environment implemented into a busy business. I have yet to see other treated unfairly, denied growth, or not be accepted for who they are. Xterra has implemented many trainings and activities to find out who we are as people and workers to make sure we are happy and enjoying our work. I do see many higher level techs with heavily stacked calendars but they also always have time for me or anyone else thats in need. Xterra makes time for you and encourages those who love IT to grow and gives them many opportunities to grow. They also encourage those who are passionate in other things to grow in that as well. I don't have complaints as this is the first company in a long time that has treated me and others with the respect and kindness that I believe everyone deserves.
