Pros

Good learning opportunity as there's a mix of everything.

Cons

Compensation didn't seem to keep up with inflation. Job title and compensation was not updated to reflect changing work. I do not recall any promotions in the local office except within sales and management. Various bonuses were promised but targets were often not reachable. You may hear implied promises as if this were a startup however this is a mature company in a mature market. In theory this is a manager-less organization with self-organized teams for accountability. In practice the sales team seems to act as management and makes most decisions. You may vote for management approved options. Coworkers may act as “management” and publicly threaten to fire you. You may be targeted by “management” if you discuss how these practices are not aligned with published company manager-less processes and procedures. I did not see upper management respond to bullying. Job related stress and 12+ hour days appear to be common and accepted. Your peers will be mostly siloed on other teams and tasks. Expect hesitancy to help as the products are complex and have significant tech debt. Your team may not approve your time off as it would increase their work and already long hours. You may be laid off without notice, and regardless of performance, as management changes strategies.

Pros

Greatly knowledgeable employees that really care.

Cons

A managerless structure that creates a lot of arguing, including how to pay out commissions to a team with different compensations plans. Leadership is viewed as a negative as all decisions have to be made by team decisions making it very difficult to move forward with any planning or GTM strategies.
