Pros
The ability to work remotely, fair pay, lots of PTO days and flexibility.
Cons
1. Lack of Collaboration: Top management encourages competition over collaboration. 2. Failed Communication: There is no transparency in communication from the top down. 3. Lack of Career Development: This is not a company that will help you grow. Silent layoffs happen every week. 4. Sinking Ship: Top management only cares about short-term profit at the expense of user satisfaction. There is no long-term thinking. Many pieces of evidence show that building great products is not a strategic priority. 5. Toxic Culture: Top management hires their friends and creates a trust circle. Many employees, including those who have worked for the company for decades, are excluded from this trust circle. Being let go is just a matter of time. 6. Increasing Workload: Lack of revenue streams forces the company to cut costs and reduce headcount. As a result, every existing employee takes on the workload of 2-3 people. The working hours are getting crazier, and stress level hits record high.
