      Pros

      Good hours, good money. The supervisor is great. Access to DVD's, books. You get to be inside in the AC during the summer.

      Cons

      The evening hours can be a bit boring, and lonely. You are not allowed to use your computer :(

      In academia, where salaries are generally lower than in the corporate sector, there can be a disproportionate amount of arrogance because many people are motivated by prestige and status rather than financial compensation.
