Poor management, especially Motorsports & low pay - Anonymous employee Yamaha Motor Employee Review

Your experience will vary wildly depending on who your manager is. Unfortunately, mediocrity runs rampant through upper management with no changes in sight, especially in Motorsports. A serious lack of innovation, poor product line, no future of investment from Japan, and a Boys Club in upper management unfortunately does not signal a bright future for this group. A cool product line is completely wasted on them. To top if off, company-wide there is little to no career progression possible with the way the company is structured. Until there is major upper management turnover, stay away.
