Pros

I love getting to work with other teams in other offices all around the world and getting to know so many more people that way. We work in a really great office in Saskatoon full of smart, productive and driven people which makes being successful here really easy. Yardi as a company takes really good care of their employees - great benefits and perks.

Cons

Sometimes communicating with people in other offices can be a little slow, nothing that cannot be worked through but it is something that slows things down once in a while. Communication in general when you work in a different office from many of your peers is sometimes lacking. The water cooler chit chat is missed when in another office so an extra effort needs to be made by management to make sure everyone is informed of any new information.

We appreciate your feedback and encourage you to talk to you manager about ways to better communication. Within the past year we have installed conference systems in some of our larger offices that we hope will help encourage communication. The new system provides the ability to not only hear folks in other offices but also allows you to see the person or persons on a large picture screen. You can connect through your computer as well to be able to chat with a number of people from different offices! Thank you for the great review!

Pros

Some team members are genuinely supportive and easy to collaborate with, though the overall experience can vary depending on the person.

Cons

Training has been the most inconsistent I’ve experienced in a corporate environment. Expectations are high, but the role itself changes frequently, often without clear communication or proper support. A recent reorganization shifted responsibilities and workloads, and it felt like it was used to delay or avoid well‑deserved raises and promotions across the team. Leadership has also increased micromanagement and plans to move toward a mandatory 2‑day in‑office schedule next year, which adds additional strain without improving collaboration.
