Pros

Good work life balance. Casual place to work.

Cons

The company is cheap. Employees salaries are lower than industry average. There is a minimal bonus, $250 a year for all employees. There is profit sharing, but there is no 401K match of any sort. Education reimbursement is minimal at best. The company doesn't even offer commuter transit account/pass; they offer to pay 50% of commuter fee inform of reimbursement but the reimbursement is taxed. The company seems more concerned with donating money to charities than paying their employees what they deserve for all their hard work. There is also a severe lack of management, training and any sense of direction. Personally my manager is in a different office and I speak with them about once a month. And training is poor throughout all areas/departments of the company. There are online internal training courses, but what is needed is to have internal employee trainers for employee applications.

You are correct that Yardi is very passionate about giving back to the community. The Yardi Blog features many articles about organizations we work with and how employees are also giving their time in our local communities. All of our salaries are benchmarked against national norms and salary is only one component of your overall compensation, along with paying 100% of your health care premium, a FSA plan, 401k, profit sharing that is much higher than what most companies match, bonuses when deserved, and other great perks like vacation condos, tuition reimbursement, and parental leave. We encourage you to reach schedule time with HR to discuss your concerns. Thank you for writing this review.

Pros

Some team members are genuinely supportive and easy to collaborate with, though the overall experience can vary depending on the person.

Cons

Training has been the most inconsistent I’ve experienced in a corporate environment. Expectations are high, but the role itself changes frequently, often without clear communication or proper support. A recent reorganization shifted responsibilities and workloads, and it felt like it was used to delay or avoid well‑deserved raises and promotions across the team. Leadership has also increased micromanagement and plans to move toward a mandatory 2‑day in‑office schedule next year, which adds additional strain without improving collaboration.
