Pros
It's a big (global) company and it honors commitment. Growth opportunities if you can suck up or if you are evil.
Cons
- Managers and Directors are OUT of control. The VP's (especially Japanese) do NOT manage their reports. - Due to weak management (and zero leadership) from the Japanese staff, strong-willed (self-focused, opportunistic) good-old-boys are able to run things their own way without any repercussions for bad decisions. - Company is so screwed up right now that real problems in leadership are being ignore (TPNO). Someone needs to clean house in that group. Within the USOEM there is still too much good-old-boy however at least the leaders have a clear sense of direction. - Japan has WAY too much control. They are handicapping the company.
