Pros

Surrounded by passionate, smart, interesting, fun co-workers. Year Up attracts so many different types of people and everyone is truly bought into the mission. At its best, it's an upbeat, rewarding place to work.

Cons

As Year Up has grown, it's in danger of getting bogged down by administration and bureaucracy and buying into the idea that the only sign of a hard worker is someone who is stretched thin and always busy, busy, busy.

Pros

- Competitive compensation - Excellent organizational leadership, passion, and culture - Programs really make a difference in the students' lives

Cons

Any new site comes with some growing pains and so we are still figuring some things out as we go. Could use a little more direction or "best practices" from other sites or leadership. But again, these things come with any new sites!
