Pros

Year Up has strong values and intelligent, driven leadership. They're redefining what it means to work at a nonprofit and are revolutionizing the workforce development space.

Cons

Like most nonprofits, their compensation does not compare to that of the private sector. They attract the brightest candidates, but cannot retain them for more than a few years due to the limitations in compensation that accompany their 501c3 status.

Pros

- Competitive compensation - Excellent organizational leadership, passion, and culture - Programs really make a difference in the students' lives

Cons

Any new site comes with some growing pains and so we are still figuring some things out as we go. Could use a little more direction or "best practices" from other sites or leadership. But again, these things come with any new sites!
