Pros

This is a program that helps really talented young adults gain the skills they need to really start building out their careers in corporate america. Majority of the staff are bought into and really care about the mission of the program. Really competitive non-profit salary and really amazing benefits ( better than some for profit companies). The core values of the company are a really great set of guiding principles to work and live by. The students that come through the program will inspire you everyday and it make it so easy to want to come to work. Working here gives you the opportunity to help change someone's life.

Cons

Feedback culture is not driven among staff is it is for students, we don't practice what we preach. It's hard to move up the ladder unless you know the right people. Lack of diversity among senior leadership team. New roles within the organization are almost never announced for people that may have the skill set to apply for the roles; these roles are usually given to people because of who they know.

Pros

- Competitive compensation - Excellent organizational leadership, passion, and culture - Programs really make a difference in the students' lives

Cons

Any new site comes with some growing pains and so we are still figuring some things out as we go. Could use a little more direction or "best practices" from other sites or leadership. But again, these things come with any new sites!
