Pros

Learned so much working here about meeting mission through the market. The people who work here really care about the students and the mission to close the Opportunity Divide and it's a great chance to see for-profit practices used for social good.

Cons

It's a big place and lacks some of the human touch that smaller nonprofits have. Lots of bureaucratic headaches, and junior staff sometimes are too removed from decision-making and then not able to understand why hard decisions are being made.

Pros

- Competitive compensation - Excellent organizational leadership, passion, and culture - Programs really make a difference in the students' lives

Cons

Any new site comes with some growing pains and so we are still figuring some things out as we go. Could use a little more direction or "best practices" from other sites or leadership. But again, these things come with any new sites!
