Pros
This is a remote job which you could consider a positive. However the management team with track you on every single thing you do. They are monitoring how much you call and when. For example if you don't make a calls back to back within 2min your manager will talk to you. They will ask why you have a gap between 11:00- 11:05 and a gap between 11:20 and 11:26. This goes down to the minute. In my first month of training my first manager was fired. Then two associates were fired. Finally almost everyone in my small training class quite. There is very little PTO starting off at only a week. Do not work here.
Cons
The customers despise yelp with a passion. I have never worked in a company where the customers hate you so much just for working with them. The customer base has a more negative view of Yelp sales people than car sales people and furniture salesman. I was constantly yelled at everyday over the phone. The management team is completely aware. However because they moved away from the cold calling they could care less. There is a possibility to make six figures, yes, like any sales job. However yelp top sales reps act just like a scammer over the phone. They will spend over an hour coaxing small business owners into a $300 a month payment that will not make them money. Do not just take my word for it. There is a whole documentary on how bad this company is called "Billion Dollar Bully". Business owners have no choice to be on the Yelp platform. Anyone literally anyone can make a yelp page for the business owner and there is no way to remove them.
