Pros
Salary position. Flexible schedule. Great for independent and self motivated person. I loved the local management team I was a part of, we all got along and it felt like a family. The team I led was also pretty good with the exception of a few.
Cons
Long hours, sometimes 12-14 hour days while you only get paid for 8. Upper management is disconnected from team on the ground. You get the feeling someone with no real world experience is making the policies, because they don’t function. Sales goals are so lofty that they are impossible to hit so you are constantly striving and not being rewarded. Company failed to pay out my team for incentives they were due. After the new CEO came in the company culture took a dive. Not the same company I started working for. Impossible to keep good employees because of low pay and lack of commission.
