Pros

Working at Yext has been a fantastic experience so far. The remote setup is exactly what I was looking for—being able to work from home allows me to be both highly productive and present for my family, which has been a complete game-changer for me. Beyond the convenience of the location, the company culture is genuinely supportive and inclusive. There is a clear focus on work-life balance that is actively encouraged, making it a sustainable and healthy place to build a career. I’ve also been impressed by the real opportunities for professional growth—the company invests in its people and provides clear paths to develop new skills. When you add in a competitive compensation and benefits package, it really makes Yext an excellent place to work. I feel valued and content, and I look forward to continuing my growth here.

Cons

Because Yext is so dynamic and operates at a high level, the pace of change can sometimes be a challenge to keep up with. While I love the challenge, it definitely requires constant attention to keep my workflows updated and ensure I’m always aligned with the latest processes. It’s a fast environment, which is great for growth, but it means you have to be very disciplined with your time management.

Pros

The product is incredible, but the people are what truly make this company special. Everyone is supportive, collaborative, and genuinely invested in helping one another succeed and working together for the betterment of the company. It is refreshing to work alongside talented professionals who are not only incredible in their respective fields, but also great teammates and overall great people. Leadership: Executive leadership is a standout aspect of Yext. They are transparent, approachable, incredibly down to earth (with great senses of humor), and always communicate a clear vision for the future. Decisions and results are explained clearly and openly, employees are kept informed about opportunities and challenges equally, and everything is addressed directly; creating a strong sense of trust and alignment across the organization. Culture: Although it is usually a buzzword just thrown around, Yext actually believes and invests in it. No company is perfect, but Yext, with executive leadership setting the tone at the top, places a huge emphasis on culture and values, prioritizing both personal and professional growth and wellness. There are plenty of opportunities to learn, take on new challenges, and grow your career; while also being given the peace of mind and resources to recharge while doing so. The environment is fast-paced but supportive, which combined with Yext's values and employees, creates an environment of high performers that can thrive while also feeling valued and supported.

Cons

Not a con, but more of a disclosure. If you are looking for a place to just "get a job and collect a check," Yext is not for you. You truly get out what you put in, and while everyone is understanding and we know life happens, we hold each other to a high professional standard for both conduct and work quality, I personally believe this is part of what makes Yext great, but not all may feel that way.

Pros

Pioneered the business of citation management, acquired Scout for AI intelligence in 2025. Good tech. - beautiful office in NYC, lunch provided daily and there's a nice rooftop patio. Decent comp.

Cons

Despite their long history in listings management space, Yext continues to suffer from bad management, poor customer service and continuous strategic changes. We have an uphill battle against the agentic ai revolution. For a public company, it's hard to understand why they have so many internal issues, it's not easy.
