Pros

You most definitely have autonomy.

Cons

As an RPO, I was technically an employee of YOH, but was working onsite for General Electric. The reason for RPO's is so General Electric does not have to pay for someone's benefits, paid time off, ect. This is a very outdated practice as the RPO receives no support from YOH and feels like an outsider working onsite with General Electric. Yoh has monthly virtual meeting to try to create some sort of cultural inclusiveness for outsourced employees. However, not working with them in any capacity there was an obvious disconnect during these meetings. General Electric would have to call YOH to provide feedback for me and I would receive it from my “manager” via phone. I was employed with YOH for an entire year and spoke to my “manager” maybe 10 times, including the time I told him I was quitting.

Pros

The project creation experience was great getting to work along side company personnel from Mckesson, Blankenship, and Cielo. The pay was competitive as well as the work-life balance.

Cons

The "full time" conversion never happened, the FLSA Status remained, "contractor", although you still received a W2.
