Pros
supervisors, admin, other providers on the team, even positions higher up all offer immense support even during times when support isn't requested. First company I've worked for that I can truthfully say is not a toxic environment.
Cons
The wages. At first the wages seemed to be perfect! Until you actually start doing the job and realize admin time, drive time, phone calls etc is paid at a lower rate. Also, we are only allowed 15 min of pay per service note as our "paperwork" pay (also lower rate) when the whole time sheet is much more time consuming factors than just service entries. Their approval process to get refunded for supplies for sessions has made paying out of pocket the least stressful and time consuming option. I find myself working for free alot of the time. Which is not the companies fault, I could change my boundaries, but I wont do that at the expensive of the youth. I just dont think an $8 refund is worth the time and effort to go buy those products (that typically cost more than $8), have kids cancel, have to go back and return them, and if they did use the materials but for a session on a different week... can no longer bill for them! The only solutions I have come to is making daily shopping trips (AKA working for free)
