Pros
There are very bright individuals within the organization, I'm fortunate when I get to work with them. Team building events are one of the few 'perks', although as morale has dipped, these have become much less enjoyable. It is satisfying to be a part of a global company with a 'history' or 'track record' in the industry
Cons
- Technology and technological support is ZERO - embarrasing really. Recently our IT department performed an "expungement" of "old" request (over one year in "queue") by simply erasing the requests for fixes/enhancements because they had not been completed. We were then advised that if the request was still valid, to re-submit another request. - Closed door meetings/conference calls - Promotions led by the good ol' boy network within leadership and senior management - Lack of organizational communication (and when there is communication it is vague and cryptic, and as we usually find out later down the road, veers from 'full disclosure' toward 'lacking truth') - Leadership - fail.
