Pros
Okay hours, supervisor easy to get along with. The elderly are retiring and won't be around to try to cause problems for much longer.
Cons
The union sucks. The pay is good, IF you work overtime. But more overtime means less time with your family (especially if you have young kids, it's hard). These are 10-12 hour shifts. I mostly went to work, came home, FELL ASLEEP right after making dinner, sometimes at the dinner table; just to wake up and go right back. 6 days a week! Worst factory drama I've ever experienced in my life. Your coworkers will go out of their way to try to get you fired over NOTHING... DAILY. The elderly employees are the WORST for that and with their gossip. They have nothing better to do than wonder around and make up crazy stories.
