Pros
It'll get your foot into the industry and Bay Area and that's about it. The people you'll work with are nice, although the same can't be said about senior management. Wlb can be very sinusoidal. New folks and people with under 5-6 years work exp are very nice people. Immigration is immaculate and taken care of for international students and employees.
Cons
Paycheck and perks are a huge laugh and while the management goes on about "improving" it, absolutely zilch has been done about it. There's a constant complain about retention of employees but nothing is done to stop the bleeding despite employees providing their feedback. I'm not going to talk about "culture" as that doesn't exist here. Senior management is extremely incompetent and a culture of throwing under the bus persists. Over the years, the only good people in senior management have left and all that's left are a few good Devs and tons of laid back seniors who wanna enjoy the good life. Good job right out of school if you have no other job lined up. Also great for international candidates to get their immigration sorted. Else, plan to leave within a year of joining. Far too much is expected of junior Devs without any guidance whatsoever for what I could only describe as a paltry paycheck. There is no company vision, as much as the senior management tries to excite in every meeting about plans for the future. It's a dead end. TL;Dr Good job outta school especially for international students. Co-workers (who aren't very senior) are very nice and smart people to work with. Depending on your team, wlb can be pretty good. Get out of here as soon as you have the needed experience.
