Pros
Plenty of learning opportunities in R&D, many experienced employees willing to share/teach. Stable company, so I’ve never worried about layoffs. If you’re someone who has initiative and drive, it can be a good place to grow your career. Good products, which are reliable/durable but not really innovative. Decent work life balance.
Cons
Low pay for the Boston metro area and med device industry. Hard to get fired, so there’s a good amount of people who just coast by. Upper management is very slow-moving and not good about transparency.
