My personal experience at technical support after 4 years of being told that I am an exceptional employee and being capped from raises was nothing but negative. It led to nothing but weekly one-on-ones with the goal posts being moved week after week. The writing on the wall was clear that they wanted me out. ZOLL began only hiring temporary employees only and systematically began getting rid of direct hire employees who had met capped raises. I ensured I left with a severance and qualified for unemployment.
