Pros

While there were frustrations with upper management, my salary was never a concern

Cons

You grind out proposals, learn their networks inside and out, and finally close those million-dollar deals. Then what? Legrand swoops in, buys the whole company, and suddenly your hard-earned client listis just another line item on some VP's spreadsheet. Now you got to start from scratch at a new company, explain why you left a "leading" player in the market, and hope your past victories with ZPE don't get overshadowed by the coroporate takeover

Pros

ZPE Systems is going through a transformative and exciting phase following its acquisition by Legrand®, a global leader in electrical and digital infrastructure. This partnership was driven by ZPE’s unique and innovative product portfolio—including serial console servers, sensor integrations, and secure services routers that enable remote IT infrastructure management from the data center to the edge. Now part of Legrand’s Data, Power, and Control (DPC) Division, ZPE team is energized by the opportunities ahead as we scale our capabilities and bring next-generation solutions to a growing global market. There are plenty of innovative projects underway, with new creative processes being introduced to support both legacy and emerging needs—especially in edge computing, AI, and remote infrastructure automation. The integration with Legrand’s broader ecosystem is expanding our reach while keeping the startup culture of innovation alive. If you're looking to be part of a fast-growing, forward-thinking tech company with a global impact—this is a great time to join ZPE Systems. Let me know if you'd like to tailor it to a specific role (e.g., engineering, marketing, operations) or shorten it for a more casual tone.

Cons

While every integration brings change and some uncertainty, the leadership team is strong, communication is open, and the company is focused on scaling smartly without losing its innovative spirit.

Pros

I can honestly say it’s been an exciting journey, especially after the acquisition by Legrand North America. The leadership team has done a great job managing the changes, keeping us informed every step of the way. They’ve made communication a priority, with regular updates and a real effort to get feedback from employees. I’ve always felt like my voice matters, and it’s clear that leadership values our input. They’ve also ensured we have the resources we need to succeed, whether that’s new tools, training, or extra support as we grow. Even though we’re now part of a bigger organization, management has worked hard to maintain a positive and collaborative culture, and I feel excited about the future here.

Cons

As with any acquisition, there have been some challenges in adjusting to the larger company’s systems and processes.
