Pros

ZT is NOT a bad company, but it's also not for everybody. I think it varies between teams and departments. Business wise, the company is doing very well and there seems to be a very positive outlook for the future. CEO is a very friendly guy and will always acknowledge you when crossing paths. There are a lot of talented employees here who are hard-working and good at what they do. If you work hard, do well, and are loyal to the company, it will not go unnoticed (in my experience). There seems to be a lot of growth happening to ZT and it's exciting to be a part of the journey.

Cons

Like a lot of the reviews have stated, the environment IS a little quiet. There is not a lot of cross-department communication, because some managers are afraid of over-sharing information. It is a very traditional type of office, the opposite of a start up culture. If you're looking for bean bag chairs in the lounges and weekly team building paintball outings, this is NOT the place for you. If you're looking for an opportunity to start your career working with a fast-growing technical company, you'll be fine here. It may not be the funnest place to work, but you will learn and get a bit of working experience. I think a lot of the negative reviews on here come from people who maybe expected a higher-energy type of office. ZT is a quiet, get-your-work-done type of environment, and you have to really understand that in order to not dread coming into work everyday.

Pros

Great management while working autonomously, never had any issues as the culture was very rewarding without being overwhelming.

Cons

If you can't work well autonomously and be able to figure out what you need to do then probably not the best fit for the role.

Pros

They don’t micromanage. Also, no silly performance and productivity reports. They’re also not too harsh if you’re late or want to leave a bit early.

Cons

There’s no growth here. People have been working for over 15 years and can only reach the team lead position. All upper management is hired from outside. Salaries are below market average because employees work on visas. They expect you to do extra work every year but never promote you or significantly raise your salary. The benefits are terrible. They don’t even give you PTO balance in advance. They try to make you feel guilty when you take sick days.
