Pros
Compared to other tech companies, there's a fast-moving, small-company vibe with minimal politics and drama. It's a "get stuff done" atmosphere, where your work has an immediate impact for customers and results are recognized. Benefits are good, and the proximity to NYC is nice. There's not a lot of ping pong / nerf war -type activity. Customers like what the company is doing, so it's exciting to be part of a growing team generating positive results.
Cons
With rapid growth has come growing pains; lots of new people coming in, and some find it's different from their expectations. Extracurriculars are minimal and the atmosphere isn't a fit for everyone. The nature of the work makes confidentiality important, so sometimes information is shared on a need-to-know basis which can cause inefficiency in communications.
