Pros

Easily accessible (near major highways, train station, and bus stops), free beverages, mostly friendly co-workers, company seems successful and growing.

Cons

First, I must say these reviews are truly accurate, but I don't see these issues being addressed in the workplace. And notice how the company hasn't responded to a single review, either. Extreme amounts of unnecessary stress due to poor management, disorganization, and general distrust. Workers' (non-management) compensation is low in comparison to similar roles within the same sector. Strongly recommend that individuals apply elsewhere and consider all other options before accepting employment at this company. Wish I had read these reviews before accepting employment here. Environment is oppressive and office is out-dated, hostile, and lacking in employee incentives. Socializing is sorely frowned upon, especially between colleagues who are employed in different departments. Positive re-enforcement and constructive criticism are rare. Instead, discipline and excessive micromanagement are typical responses from management when issues arise, and there are MANY, mostly due to the the lack of organization within teams, poor inter-departmental and employee-manager communication, and extreme secrecy. Too much time wasted on pointless, non-productive team meetings and long e-mail chains that address issues that can be solved in minutes, but seem to stretch over a span of hours, even days, while employees scramble to communicate effectively and get on the same page. Upper management only conveys "necessary information" to employees. In other words, everything is purely on a "need-to-know" basis, and it seems management feels lower-level employees "need-to-know" next-to-nothing, which results in the manifestation of confusion, sloppiness and frustration. Don't rely on Human Resources for any type of guidance or assistance either -- they are just upper management's lackeys. They're also misleading; making empty promises, changing your title/position at the last minute, and/or just lying about your salary, then under-paying you once you are hired.

Pros

Great management while working autonomously, never had any issues as the culture was very rewarding without being overwhelming.

Cons

If you can't work well autonomously and be able to figure out what you need to do then probably not the best fit for the role.

Pros

They don’t micromanage. Also, no silly performance and productivity reports. They’re also not too harsh if you’re late or want to leave a bit early.

Cons

There’s no growth here. People have been working for over 15 years and can only reach the team lead position. All upper management is hired from outside. Salaries are below market average because employees work on visas. They expect you to do extra work every year but never promote you or significantly raise your salary. The benefits are terrible. They don’t even give you PTO balance in advance. They try to make you feel guilty when you take sick days.
