Pros

Great company that I enjoyed working with for 3+ years. 1st level supervisor was great as well as co-workers. Truly enjoyed working there

Cons

Was laid off with no notice. Literally got to work and was told I'm being laid off right there and to turn everything in. They took all vacation, stocks and benefits and the "severance" package was just another 1 weeks pay. After years of sacrificing family time, holidays and weekends to make the company successful it was a real blow to the gut.

I’m glad you enjoyed working at Zayo. I’m sorry your departure from the company didn’t meet your expectations. It’s tough for us to make decisions that affect people’s lives and livelihoods and we try to handle reductions with empathy -- though we need to improve in this area. While severance packages are currently based on tenure, we are taking a look to see if adjustments might be appropriate to bolster severance terms in certain situations. There is one inaccuracy in this review, regarding the 1 week severance, the lowest severance was 2 weeks. If you feel that there is an error in your severance, please reach out to PCB. Zayo ambition is to create secure high-paying jobs at a steadily growing rate. Our track record in doing this is strong. Acquisitions, at times, create disruption. Some projects create work in certain geographies for a period of time, but the work sometimes subsides years later and reductions must be made (though sometimes relocation to other geographies is an option). Thanks for your feedback.

Pros

Excellent sales enablement, tools, and internal support. Leadership has done a good job creating an environment where Enterprise Account Executives can focus on selling instead of getting bogged down by administrative tasks. CRM data is clean, processes are organized, and responsibilities between Sales, Customer Success, and Account Management are clearly defined. It’s refreshing to work for a company that invests in the systems and structure needed to help its sales teams succeed.

Cons

Ongoing integration efforts following the Crown Castle Fiber acquisition mean some processes and systems are still evolving. As with most enterprise sales roles, building pipeline requires significant self-sourcing and prospecting across a large territory. The product portfolio is extensive, which creates a bit of a learning curve for new hires but also provides opportunities to solve complex customer challenges.
