Pros
- Good young core surrounded by a few strong veterans - Room for advancement in many departments - A valuable offering of telecom products
Cons
- Work life balance is way out of whack with no real desire to fix it ("If you don't want to work long work weeks and weekends you should just look for another job") - Under paid and undervalued workforce - Management are a bunch of yes men/women so there is very little push back on the executives. You must play in the politics of the company to move up in most cases. - Hope you like most of your salary tied up in stock (RSUs) because that is what you will get and in most cases you will have to wait 14+ months for your to pay out. - Nice offices but not as nice as most other top tech companies in Denver/Boulder - Little to no perks other than equity - Many of the senior managers that started the company are now gone - Young middle management core that do not know how to lead the teams they are put in charge of - Little to no company culture to speak of - Short sighted goals as bonuses are paid on a quarterly basis - Overly complected bonus and salary system - Empty promises of cultural changes that are quickly forgotten - Raises are nearly impossible to negotiate beyond finding another job and putting in our notice - Do not expect any mentoring as no one has time to devote to this - I literally had 4 different managers within a 6 month window making it impossible to stay track with goals/directives - My advice is to potential applicants it to just keep looking
