Pros

Ability to get a title if you are young

Cons

This company continues to pivot when faced with adversity, and every time they do it just creates more chaos for teams and customers. They are now planning on splitting into two public companies, one company that will stay as "Zayo" and retain all of the attractive assets, and another company where they are stashing all of their declining segments. Instead of admitting that verticalizing the company was a bad decision that lead to internal competition and cannibalization, they are now going to re-segment yet again. The higher ups refuse to admit that their poor decisions have lead to where this company is at right now, and instead blame everyone in the organization for lack luster sales and installs. If teams weren't constantly shifting around and getting new regions and mega verticals, maybe we would have closed more deals, but instead teams are meeting prior KDMs with longstanding connections for the first time.

Pros

Excellent sales enablement, tools, and internal support. Leadership has done a good job creating an environment where Enterprise Account Executives can focus on selling instead of getting bogged down by administrative tasks. CRM data is clean, processes are organized, and responsibilities between Sales, Customer Success, and Account Management are clearly defined. It’s refreshing to work for a company that invests in the systems and structure needed to help its sales teams succeed.

Cons

Ongoing integration efforts following the Crown Castle Fiber acquisition mean some processes and systems are still evolving. As with most enterprise sales roles, building pipeline requires significant self-sourcing and prospecting across a large territory. The product portfolio is extensive, which creates a bit of a learning curve for new hires but also provides opportunities to solve complex customer challenges.
