Pros

-PASSIONATE MENTORS: Many smart, hard working and talented leaders + individual contributors = mentors everywhere, available to help, across all departments. -CONSTANT CHANGE: This is not a "red sea" but a "blue ocean" kind of company. -BENEFIT HIGHLIGHTS: 25 PTO days + 7 paid holidays + Great Health Care (low employee monetary contribution) + Quarterly bonuses + Work from home privilege depending on position/location -KNOWLEDGE: Learning opportunities at Zayo are constant - everyday and everywhere. You will get the best education across all facets of business and the Telecom industry. -COMPANY CULTURE: Zayo has a good balance of industry veterans with lots of experience, knowledge and a willingness to teach, those in the middle of their career (hybrid of both teacher and learner) and young employees fresh out of college anxious to learn and grow. This is a high energy - hard working company. Leadership transparency is very good and this company thrives on open communication among all employees.

Cons

-In order to survive at Zayo you have to want to work extremely hard. This is not a place for slackers. -With any growing company, there is much to be done; sometimes it's overwhelming and yes, sometimes we choose to work additional hours at night or on the weekends. -If you can't check your ego at the door, are opposed or resistant to change then this probably isn't the company for you. -Sometimes it's hard to find the balance between work and personal time.

Pros

Excellent sales enablement, tools, and internal support. Leadership has done a good job creating an environment where Enterprise Account Executives can focus on selling instead of getting bogged down by administrative tasks. CRM data is clean, processes are organized, and responsibilities between Sales, Customer Success, and Account Management are clearly defined. It’s refreshing to work for a company that invests in the systems and structure needed to help its sales teams succeed.

Cons

Ongoing integration efforts following the Crown Castle Fiber acquisition mean some processes and systems are still evolving. As with most enterprise sales roles, building pipeline requires significant self-sourcing and prospecting across a large territory. The product portfolio is extensive, which creates a bit of a learning curve for new hires but also provides opportunities to solve complex customer challenges.
