Pros

Great colleagues that feel they're in this together. Nice location above the 29th street mall with easy access to plenty of lunch options.

Cons

Poor leadership that doesn't value their employees. Carrot and stick mentality reigns. It feels like none of them have taken a leadership course. Churn and burn mentality (turn-over rate is very high). The only concern is meeting financial targets at all costs. Lack of proper benefits, including a 401k match. There's no work/ life balance. 70 hour weeks are frequent and no-one is concerned about how this might impact your life outside of Zayo. As other reviewers have commented, executives seem to be afraid of the CEO and are unwilling to take a stand. As others have noted, CEO has pushed for glassdoor reviews to offset the negative reviews that were in place when I first looked at the company. Unfortunately, trust the negative reviews in this case. Often times, employees are required to meet unreasonable artificial deadlines. I say artificial, because by the time the target is met, employees find out that the target date was actually several weeks out, or the work was completely unnecessary. Many employees are sticking around in the hopes that their common units become liquid or they're looking to find another job elsewhere. I'm in the latter category.

Pros

Excellent sales enablement, tools, and internal support. Leadership has done a good job creating an environment where Enterprise Account Executives can focus on selling instead of getting bogged down by administrative tasks. CRM data is clean, processes are organized, and responsibilities between Sales, Customer Success, and Account Management are clearly defined. It’s refreshing to work for a company that invests in the systems and structure needed to help its sales teams succeed.

Cons

Ongoing integration efforts following the Crown Castle Fiber acquisition mean some processes and systems are still evolving. As with most enterprise sales roles, building pipeline requires significant self-sourcing and prospecting across a large territory. The product portfolio is extensive, which creates a bit of a learning curve for new hires but also provides opportunities to solve complex customer challenges.
