Pros

One of the pros I have with Zayo is that it is a company full of hope and optimism. It seems like everyone has high hopes which is a good thing. It makes you feel like you have a part in this new type of company. I do agree with most of the reviews posted when they say there are great people with many talents. Many of them are very willing to help out when asked. I would have to say that the biggest Pro for this company is their talent in the field. Those guys are always putting their lives on hold to help out in an instant. I can't say enough about them.

Cons

On the same note as above, the biggest con would be that the guys in the field do put their lives on hold to help out in an instant. Sometimes in part to fear of losing their jobs. I have worked with Zayo coming from one of the original acquisitions. So for me its been a long time coming. But the raise in salaries is horrendous. I have not seen a raise. I feel that there are likely others in the same boat. You make of that what you want. I also agree that the 401k is dismal. But sounds like that will be changing soon.

Pros

Excellent sales enablement, tools, and internal support. Leadership has done a good job creating an environment where Enterprise Account Executives can focus on selling instead of getting bogged down by administrative tasks. CRM data is clean, processes are organized, and responsibilities between Sales, Customer Success, and Account Management are clearly defined. It’s refreshing to work for a company that invests in the systems and structure needed to help its sales teams succeed.

Cons

Ongoing integration efforts following the Crown Castle Fiber acquisition mean some processes and systems are still evolving. As with most enterprise sales roles, building pipeline requires significant self-sourcing and prospecting across a large territory. The product portfolio is extensive, which creates a bit of a learning curve for new hires but also provides opportunities to solve complex customer challenges.
