Pros

Flexible working hours, the people I work with are fantastic & great team players. If your face fits & your prepared to sell your sole to the devil then you have the opportunity of being fast tracked promoted. (although I'm only told this & never really seen any evidence of it) The pay is fair (although no annual inflation matching rises given which doesn't seem right) I feel the company is now starting to settle down & a bit & I am optimistic the staff / customer experience will shortly start to improve, I certainly hope so otherwise I'm off. It is the staff & team ethic that keeps this business hitting it's numbers, very good people but whom are running out of patients. I believe Zayo management are now trying to improve the employee experience as they keep asking us to complete surveys etc which has to be a positive.

Cons

Far too much work load expected of staff which has an adverse effect on the customer experience offered, which in turn has a very adverse effect on morale. There seems very little job security. It would appear that you can be doing great in your position but then one day Zayo management may decide that your role is no longer required & that's it your out the door. The big problem is staffing numbers across the board are just too short, which won't change as it's all about EBITDA figures but you can't keep staff & customers happy when everybody is being flogged to the bitter end. The Sales Force system they have is just so admin heavy & not great fun to work on. It's restrictive & just doesn't allow for human common sense to overrule it. How on earth you can be motivated to continuously be fighting the red to go away & pump numbers is beyond me.

Pros

Excellent sales enablement, tools, and internal support. Leadership has done a good job creating an environment where Enterprise Account Executives can focus on selling instead of getting bogged down by administrative tasks. CRM data is clean, processes are organized, and responsibilities between Sales, Customer Success, and Account Management are clearly defined. It’s refreshing to work for a company that invests in the systems and structure needed to help its sales teams succeed.

Cons

Ongoing integration efforts following the Crown Castle Fiber acquisition mean some processes and systems are still evolving. As with most enterprise sales roles, building pipeline requires significant self-sourcing and prospecting across a large territory. The product portfolio is extensive, which creates a bit of a learning curve for new hires but also provides opportunities to solve complex customer challenges.
