Pros
I love the following quote and feel it's fitting for those that have left negative comments. “If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door” ― Milton Berle If you choose to just sit back and wait for the knock, then Zayo is probably not the right fit for you. I have been around for 5+ years and change is evident. The opportunities to help drive change are endless. Zayo is looking for leaders, people who are willing to think out of the box, collaborate with others amongst the different groups not only to help the company grow but to improve our culture. If you're willing to step up and give it your all, you will be rewarded. The pay is competitive, quarterly bonus is the best that I've had in 20 years, the equity program is a great perk for those deserving, Management is always engaged and available to assist when needed, and the opportunities are endless. Promoting from within does happen; I know of at least a dozen employees who have been promoted over the last couple years.
Cons
Long Hours.......it just happens to be the nature of the beast and anyone who has chosen this career path should completely understand that it can sometimes get hectic at the end of the month, quarter, year or during any major storm event, but; working with a great team, like most of us do, definitely helps lessen the impact when you keep focus on the big picture.
