Pros

-Many areas offer some flexibility with work location (home or office) as well as timing (meaning that you can make up some hours at night, or when you're able, so that you can run errands on occasion. -Many very interesting and talented people to work with who bring unique and fresh prospective to challenges you may be facing with you position.

Cons

Cons... There are so many cons to working for Zayo, that listing them all would take more time than anyone is going to actually read through. So I'll leave it with just this: Trust. There is zero trust in the executive management team, or their subordinate managers in between. None. Just look at the review from 6/12/2015 titled, "Great Place to be." Any current, or former, employee of Zayo can spot that this review was not written by a "line employee." It's all puppies and sunshine and a total contradiction to the way things actually are within this company, OR, that person does not exist. I encourage anyone who wishes to work at Zayo to spend some time and read through all of the reviews here on Glassdoor, and if possible, speak to any current or former employees. That way you can at least proceed into the situation with your eyes open.

Pros

Excellent sales enablement, tools, and internal support. Leadership has done a good job creating an environment where Enterprise Account Executives can focus on selling instead of getting bogged down by administrative tasks. CRM data is clean, processes are organized, and responsibilities between Sales, Customer Success, and Account Management are clearly defined. It’s refreshing to work for a company that invests in the systems and structure needed to help its sales teams succeed.

Cons

Ongoing integration efforts following the Crown Castle Fiber acquisition mean some processes and systems are still evolving. As with most enterprise sales roles, building pipeline requires significant self-sourcing and prospecting across a large territory. The product portfolio is extensive, which creates a bit of a learning curve for new hires but also provides opportunities to solve complex customer challenges.
