Pros
The product itself is not awful but there are easier and more robust ones out there. With the money they raised, you'd hope it would have gone towards a better product, but instead it just went to more management. They are SO top heavy.
Cons
The challenges are too numerous to list, but we'll try: It is difficult to get past the nickel and diming mentality- what you see is not what you get in the "package"...note to internal and external clients Salary is low- particularly for this area Inequality for women abounds The CEO does have a bloated ego and plays the blame game, as do they all. All of the Upper management team openly berates and chastises others in public- must be an foreign thing as others know better. Client satisfaction has been rocky at best but this is for employees, not clients, but you will painfully feel this if in that area Many practices are shady at best--HR, Financial, Sales, etc If you are out of a job, you will be highly courted/sought after- you'll understand why once there. I know it's tough, but you can hold out unless you just want the work experience. Don't think you'll be immune to being in the unemployment line soon though, they're mastering the layoff if you try to help outside of what they have proscribed. If you're brave enough to accept an offer, get every bit of it in writing- spelled out to the nth You cannot work normal hours - expect 60+ hour weeks, you cannot "shut down" and really take time off You're presumably hired for what you bring to the table, yet they want to do it their way. Seems their way has only gotten them a handful of clients- check the wires... There are no policies and procedures that are followed, yet you will be micro-managed, which basically is because they don't have good policies. If you're a brown-noser, you might do very well, the weaker, unskilled ones generally do, as they know no better. Future employers, watch out. I really am amazed at how some inept people are still there, but again, they are good at kissing something. There really is no accountability, AT ALL.
