Pros

Good benefits, 401k is matched at 6% but you wont get 100% vested interest until you have worked there for 6 years.

Cons

A lot of cons to this place: 1. They do a "clean house" every few years- they fire staff to make quarterly numbers look good, They fired everyone of color during the last mass lay-off. 2. You will be OVERWORKED- extremely understaffed 3. Favortism- certain low ranking employees are given favorable treatment above management, For example, low ranking staff will sticker product and actively ignore costumers, and no you cannot ask her to help. 4. The walls have ears, management listens to your complaints through the comfort of their office and then implements policies where you cannot talk express your frustrations at work 5. Inconsistent disciplinary action: management chooses to punish people they do not like or has issues with the store that they do not want to resolve 6. There is a specific person that is a low ranking employee whose attitude is very rude to costumers, and has been combative and esaclates situations to the point where people walk out or have an outburst. Even when management has handled the situation she will interject and make the situation worse.

Pros

Great tips, family environment, flexibility, and benefits.

Cons

Management claims to have a concern for you as an employee, treats them otherwise. Very intimidating higher up.

Pros

Cool and friendly coworkers, occasional “free” samples (if you don’t have a med card, you will have to pay taxes on them.) and tips in addition to regular pay.

Cons

Management is inexperienced and lazy; they never come in to fill a call out unless absolutely necessary and still will end up leaving early. They don’t know how to schedule around the high turnover rate but seemingly have no real sense of urgency to hire more people to fill the gaps either. The higher ups don’t care about the customers, just about squeezing the most money out of them as possible. Keep breaking things that weren’t in need of changes and keep firing people and expecting everyone else to pick up the slack with no extra pay.
