Pros
Some good quality people in the Manager and below levels. Adequate pay and comparable benefits. Wants to embrace change and recognizes changes are needed. Biomet has SAP and a SOPS planning team to actually invest in the inventory needed to run the business and has actually started to spend on the inventory a integrated sales force will need 6 months too late!
Cons
Rush and cram change without ensuring things are done right. Laying off key personnel with no regard to knowledge of tasks and a plan on how to effectively spread out the work loads. Change it now deal with affects later mentality. "Biomet Does it Better" so Zimmer sold out its employees jobs to Biomet for a slogan.
