Pros

If you go to a party or a new job and reveal that you used to work at Zimmerman, and the person you’re talking to also reveals they worked there, you’ll have a long conversation about how bad the company was and share some of your terrible experiences. This can lead to you becoming good friends with who you’re talking to, it’s like having you’re enemy in common.

Cons

Everything. First of all, the pay is extremely low. They often target colleges since the CEO may go to speak there and that’s how they boost up the company, then young people start working there and get paid way less than they deserve. Everyone gets paid way less than they deserve, but the company wants you to always “appreciate” that you work at such a prestigious company which works with big brands and try to position that as why the pay is low. It’s a toxic environment overall. If you leave the office at or before 6, you’re frowned upon, managers like to see their employees work late and break their back for the company. A red flag should be that the company’s tag line is “24/7, seriously.” The CEO is a total jerk. I’ve watched him unnecessarily yell at the valet guys who were going to get his car. Your managers will push you to overwork if you want a raise or to move up, its nothing to do with the quality of you or your work but how much you’ll devote your life to the company. When the pandemic started, they hired a good chunk of the company then told people to work harder or they’ll be next, yes this really happened. Most people who go to work there admit that they’ll only be there for a short while to have it on their resume then go to a new company. They’ll tell you things to seem like they have a good culture by bringing food trucks to the office ever so often, lol but the company won’t be reimbursing that food like normal companies would! Their culture is a front to get people to join the company. No one there is truly happy. Just, don’t do it. And in case you’re wondering, no they don’t allow work from home, they want to keep their eye on you. There is no trust toward employees.

Pros

Free Soda machine, zero state tax

Cons

So many to say. Knowing that your boss and the owner are complete idiots and out of touch within the first month of working there was a negative. Bad pay, lack of support, a security guard checking you in. There are so many.
