Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback and I am sorry to hear you felt that Zimmerman was not the long term fit for you. I am very happy that you got a chance to interact with some upper level management that made a positive difference during your stay. I am constantly looking to add more and encourage them to develop enrichment programs like our mentor matching, continuing education scholarships and internal training seminars to make sure all team members can grow and learn from the senior leadership team. I do not agree with your “no one stays” comment. We have plenty within our ranks who fit in the 5+ years, 10+ years and 20+ years tenure category. But that being said, we also know that some will gain the experience and move on. We wish them well. We are a different breed of agency that is right for a different breed of team member long term. Our team’s dedication is, in my opinion, what sets us apart and what drives our machine. Each and every day I meet new people who I know could and will be long term members of our Zimmerman family.
In regards to compensation, we work hard to make sure that we keep competitive with salaries in the industry and we want to always see our team members grow. That is why we have instituted scheduled increases for our entry-level employees, and the majority of our current team members have or will receive performance based merit increases this year, as well as 401k matching contributions, spot bonuses and more. We will continue to keep our eye on compensation and make sure we treat all our family fairly.
I am sorry that Zimmerman was not the place for you, but Zimmerman has been the chosen work home for thousands…and they continue to grow within our organization.
