Pros
Contracts can be at high level places like LOC or GPO, use the job to make govt contacts if you want to switch to federal, otherwise take whatever skills u get and run
Cons
Low pay, poor management, degrading working conditions, no place for breaks, no fridge for lunch. Its every man for himself. No upward movement or growth within the positions offered. If you want to make a career, either expect to do the same job forever or need to move to another contract. Insurance deductible ridiculously high, PTO/sick days accrue too slowly. Expect to use your PTO/sick days to cover lost wages when your agency is closed.
