After a first round of terminations, the Monday before Thanksgiving, they promised there would be no more. They left folks with a very meager severance and some without visas. Then, two-three weeks before end of year, they decided to cancel all bonuses due to a lack of sales. Always read the small print on your agreements, apparently Zinier could change the terms of the bonus whenever they wanted - even at the 11th hour. Finally, Early January, they terminated another large group of employees. Again, minimal severance. They appoint a new CEO, the former Chief Business Officer, and it's back to business as usual! We all know the start-up risks, but this is a severe exception to the norm.
