Pros

Exciting visions to modernize and disrupt a stale industry. Working remote is still acceptable for most departments.

Cons

Zinnia is very top heavy, and it is a revolving door, we have had three CEOs in four years. It makes it difficult to embrace the values our “leaders” are trying to push when you know they will probably be gone within a year. Currently, Zinnia claims they want to make it a people first company, but adding benefits like dog insurance isn’t going to change the fact that most employees consistently work 50+ hours during the week, and most weekends. There is a lot of praise and encouragement on slack, but when you are on a call with upper management it is a very different story, that is where their true colors show, they can be very demeaning, cruel, and unsupportive.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your honest feedback. We do appreciate all perspectives on our journey to transform the insurance industry, as it gives us an opportunity to share where we are and where we are going. Our goal of bringing insurance products to consumers that deliver financial wellness in a frictionless way, simplifying buying, educating people on the true benefits of these products and ensuring exceptional service end-to-end is what we are striving to achieve. We are committed to building a great culture together and work/life balance is a major component of that. You deserve the opportunity to take paid time off and recharge. We are encouraging all managers to have more conversations with their team members and offer them much-needed support throughout the year. We care deeply about each of our team members and providing the support they need. If you are not getting that support from your manager, please contact your Human Resource Business Partner.

Pros

They drive you hard and you learn a lot. Most of these reviews seem like theyve been listed by people who are afraid to put the time in to learn, or gave in under the pressure.

Cons

Learning curve is a bit high, but through conversations with employees you learn a lot.

Pros

Hybrid work is nice and sometimes we get lunch.

Cons

Disorganized leadership team that never come into office which causes low morale. Wheels spin in circles and promises get broken and nothing ever actually gets done. The elitism is through the roof- execs and senior leadership only talk to each other and do not care for their teams. My team has personally been the victims of terrible treatment from above. There is little to no mentorship or career opportunity growth. The overuse of AI is absurd- no one thinks for themselves anymore. There is NO authenticity.
