I got ghosted as a past employee when I applied again and reached out to recruiters. - Software Engineer Zinnia Employee Review

Pros

They gave some technical training (including a couple of months of unpaid work) to new graduates, but it had nothing to do with what technology stack the new hires would be working on.

Cons

During my tenure at Zinnia, I was shortly moved to a completely different team and technology stack upon hiring that I was not hired to work on as a new grad- this is completely misleading the career trajectory and prospects of a new university graduate. Moreover, when I left for pursuing higher education and tried to reach back out to recruiters and hiring managers and expressed interest in rejoining the team, all of them ghosted me- really disappointing.

Pros

They drive you hard and you learn a lot. Most of these reviews seem like theyve been listed by people who are afraid to put the time in to learn, or gave in under the pressure.

Cons

Learning curve is a bit high, but through conversations with employees you learn a lot.

Pros

Hybrid work is nice and sometimes we get lunch.

Cons

Disorganized leadership team that never come into office which causes low morale. Wheels spin in circles and promises get broken and nothing ever actually gets done. The elitism is through the roof- execs and senior leadership only talk to each other and do not care for their teams. My team has personally been the victims of terrible treatment from above. There is little to no mentorship or career opportunity growth. The overuse of AI is absurd- no one thinks for themselves anymore. There is NO authenticity.
