Pros
Challenging work in a critical part of finance. A large regional bank with many career opportunities. Rarely any layoffs and wages are average or better than other local banks.
Cons
Horrible, horrible benefits. Specifically, the dental/vision plan, which makes routine checkups difficult for those with lower incomes. The health plan is high deductible/catastrophic, so plan on putting away several thousand dollars for routine medical expenditures or pregnancies. A large chunk of your net pay will be needed to cover what you may have had in the past. Politics is difficult to manuever at Zions. Like any other employer, 'favorite' employees will receive the attention of management despite less experience or knowledge. Be proactive and useful if you wish to move up.
